Razer is well known for its wide array of gaming-related keyboards, mice, headsets, and other accessories Razer also makes several gaming monitors, most recently the "Raptor" series displays Razer has just refreshed its 27-inch Raptor monitor with a higher refresh rate Razer just refreshed its 27-inch Raptor monitors with a higher refresh rate, and now you can buy the older model for $549.99, which is $150 less than the regular price. That's $150 less than the regular price and $50 less than the Amazon Prime Day price. [It has an "IPS-grade" 144Hz panel, a sturdy aluminum base, 1ms response time, and HDR 400 support. It is designed primarily for AMD FreeSync, but is also advertised as G-Sync compatible. This means that no matter what graphics card you are using, you should be able to enjoy ultra-smooth gameplay at up to 144 Hz. Finally, the monitor has an abundance of RGB lights around the base that can be configured using the Razer Synapse desktop software.

We haven't tried the Razer Raptor ourselves, but our friends at TechRadar like its performance and excellent colors, although they note that HDR is still a bit confusing on Windows. Tom's Hardware also likes the monitor for its build quality and universal GPU support, while citing the lack of true sRGB color modes as a drawback for professional use.
