Helldivers2 takes a page from George W. Bush and re-brands its military operations as "Galactic Wars of Tyranny" to drum up recruits

It was a few weeks of stagnation due to the Galactic War in Helldivers2. Super Earth has been on a winning streak of Ls as late as, with some failed major instructions to secure the planet with a malfunctioning Terminid control system, a failed instruction that recently came with material consequences: We fell short of scrapping two billion automatons in a week, and our efforts to unlock an anti-tank mine strategy Lost the second opportunity.

In an effort to drum up enthusiasm for its anti-bug and anti-robot campaigns among the Commonwealth, the Super Earth government has issued an important update:

"Automata have invaded large swathes of our territory." The TCS fails, and the Meridian Supercolony spews more terminoids than ever before across the galaxy. Freedom is under greater threat than ever. In response to this situation, the Super Earth government has officially declared war on all agents of tyranny, "the message in the game appears."

"All actions so far have been simply special military operations. This galactic war against tyranny will not end as before until freedom is forever secure. This is because we were already under the impression that we were at war with "tyranny" and its allies, oppression, totalitarianism. Apparently, everything we have done so far was a harbinger of a real war that begins today. In everything but the name, this is the same war as yesterday. "Galactic War against Tyranny"... Yeah, it's not hard to pick up the inspiration behind Helldivers2's latest warmongering roleplay. This was my first time reading Super Earth Communique and I wanted to go to bed right away.

This rebranding has had the intended effect on the Super Earth public. "Billions of healthy citizens from across the commonwealth have already volunteered for conscription," the message continues.

And that's where we divers come in: Our next major order is to hold to start the key planets, four where the construction of new training facilities has begun, 4 of the 3 of the planets are in safe hands and 1 has an active defense campaign.

It seems like a simple task — much more manageable than the coordinated capture of planets on two different fronts - but would take an amount of focus not to let the super-Earth-controlled planets slip away. If Arrowhead wants to focus more attention on a particular planet, it can always be argued that automatons have weapons of mass destruction.
