During the state of Play conference, Sony announced that the popular Prestige action sequel God of War Ragnarök will finally come to PC on May 9. The PC version will include frame rate unlocking, upscaling and Super Ultra wide screen support, along with the Valhalla DLC and a new game+ mode added after launch, as the Sony blog post explained. 

And the footnote at the bottom says, "You need a PlayStation Network account."The Steam and Epic pages back this up and say, "A PlayStation Network account is required and is subject to the PlayStation Terms of Service and User Agreement."They have since linked to PlayStation Network's Terms of Service.

This probably means that GOD of War Ragnarök will no longer be available in 177 countries and territories that do not have access to the PSN.As we learned when Helldivers2 was delisted en masse following Sony's PSN login requirements (a request Sony later backed up).

Since then we have seen the ghosts of Tsushima end up in similar pickles. The PC version was delisted in those 177 countries and territories as well, as PSN sign-in is required to access its cooperative multiplayer mode. Oddly enough, Ghost of Tsushima doesn't ask for a login just by playing single player mode, but god of War Ragnarök (a completely single player game) makes some sense.

Itwill come out on 9/19. At least for some of us.
