Added Wave-based Rogue Light Mode in Diablo 4 Season 5

The fifth season of Diablo 4 has a new mode of interesting sound - an activity called Horde of Hell that's like Roguelite. An item called the Infernal Compass allows players to enter the realm of hatred and fight timed wave enemies. Those enemies will drop the burning Aether, and during the waves you will be able to choose "Boon and Banes", where you can get more Aether.

If you survive enough waves, you will fight the Fell Council, a randomly selected group of 5 from a pool of 3 mini bosses. If you defeat them, you can spend a burning Aether on the loot of Hell: equipment, materials, gold, and larger equipment — guaranteeing items with powerful big affixes.

Infernal Hordes will be available to test from 6/25 to 7/2 in the Diablo5 public test realm, according to Blizzard's What You Need To Know post.

The Hell Compass used to take on the Hell Horde challenge is obtained by clearing the end-game bosses, Hertides, Nightmare Dungeons, and Whispers. There will be eight stages of Hell compass reached by upgrading the compass using the scroll found in the game, a higher layer of compass will send you against difficult enemies in Hell hordes for correspondingly high rewards.

The seasono5 Test Realm also improves the quality of life of end-game bosses, making it easier to fight in succession by doing it without resetting the dungeon. There are also improvements to the quality of life to Helltide, Whispers, loot, and treasure goblins, and tweaks to allow more classes to use more types of weapons. There is also an auto pin on the way, audio navigation, and an on-screen compass accessibilty feature.
