Elven Ring: Shadow of The Red tree currently has a "mixed" status on Steam, and many of the negative reviews have complained that the boss is too hard

Shadow of The Erdtree that Everyone Loves: We gave 95% in reviews (higher than the base game 2 years ago), Erdtree made The Witcher3: Blood and Wine the best reviewed RPG expansion in metacritic Despite all that buzz, it's now taking a beating on one major indicator: Steam Review. View.

Shadow of The Erdtree is in a "mixed" state, with more than 14,000 user reviews, 61% positive. 1. There is one repeated criticism that makes a lot of sense: PC performance. At the launch of the Elden Ring, PC Gamer editor-in-chief Evan Lahti thought that the Elden Ring is a very good and unusual game, people pass for stuttering, a cap of 60fps, ultra-wide support

Two years later, it's still the case for good and bad: Erdtree's shadow was so good, I think its performance was very good. But in these Steam reviews, the criticism of performance is a clear minority.

The main cause of anger' bosses are too hard. "DLC bosses are unbearable and pathetic," reads 1. "I miss the time of the soulsborne game, about understanding the bosses, using their weaknesses against them and overcoming them by skill and knowledge.

"Now that [sic] just 10 hit combos, every attack will also make a second aoe attack confusing when it completly fades [sic]"

Another read: "Used to: greed."; Now: While the boss also moves like a ping pong ball, it chases different combos like an R1 attack."I see reviews complaining that the new weapons and ashes of war are not powerful enough to meet these challenges, or that they are a requirement to defeat the dlc

Many of the negative reviews seem to betray the new Scadutree fragment feature, Erdtree's lack of engagement or understanding with the supplemental leveling system." It looks like it is. Multiple reviews have pointed out that despite its high health and resistance, it has been killed with one or two hits by an early boss, and there are complaints that players are equipped with "Soreseal" items that induce damage vulnerability from the base game and are fighting later bosses. Thoroughly exploring the world and finding fragments of Scadutree by going to the realm of options is a real need in Erdtree's shadow, as you can see at the site of Grace Level

Here's how Souls YouTuber VaatiVidya is transforming by taking on an early DLC boss with a Level 1 character. It shows how Scadutree fragments can be — FromSoftware recommends that they be at least level 120 for extensions — which had collected a lot of fragments. VaatiVidya is never a pushover, but it's not a dedicated challenge or speed runner going to show you what Scadutree Fragments can do for you.

Reviews complaining about difficulty have the character of being written immediately after the often frustrating boss experience, so we hope that cooler heads will win as these players adapt to Erdtree's new system and the shadow of challenging encounters — fortunately, we have a lot of fun. We have a host of elden Rings: Erdtree's Shadow Guide to help them along the way.
