The two most played games on Steam today are Counter-Strike2 and Click on the banana

Banana is a game in which you repeatedly click on a banana, and that's about it. If it sounds dull, then it is: I downloaded the banana and clicked on the banana for a while, and it has almost everything to do.

But boy, bananas are popular. Since its launch on May 4, the free-to-play Clicker has steadily amassed a massive number of players.

And I mean massive. As of today, Banana has a peak concurrent player count of 858,915, which is up from 100,000 just over a week ago. Not only will it be a huge blast of players, it will also be the 2nd game played on Steam. No kidding only Counter Strike 2 is more steam-up than the game you clicked on a banana today

It's not the only one. Banana is also threatening to rob Baldur's Gate 1, one of the most beloved and popular games of the past year, 3. Larian's D&D dating simulator is camping in a cozy spot on Steam's list of the most-played games in history, with a peak of 875,343 concurrent players, which is about 16,000 more players than Banana Drew today.

So, well, yeah. BG3 will almost certainly be kicked off by friggin' banana on steam's top 10 all-timer list. Like "tomorrow soon". Well, as my grandfather told me on his deathbed, "There is no shame in being beaten by a banana."Now I finally know what he was talking about.

And as you might have guessed: Yes, despite my previous dismissal, as well as clicking on bananas, there's certainly a lot to bananas if you click long enough (and are pure of mind), you'll eventually see another banana that you can trade or sell on the Steam market. It will be.

A real carrot in a banana is a very rare and expensive banana can fall off, which will make all your clicks worth it. I think. I haven't clicked long enough or hard to find, but maybe I'll be at the time bananas have become even more popular than CS2.
