Manor Rose players overwhelmingly vote to change the Historically accurate yet NSFW character name

Everyone loves heroes — but randomly generated citizens mostly do sneaky tasks like chopping firewood or carrying corpses all day long, but in Manor Rose, 1 character quickly became noticeable and became something of a mascot, if not a complete legend .

You probably already know the person I'm talking to: Cuntz.

He may be a farmer or a grave digger or a blacksmith, but chances are somewhere in your village you have a man (or even a cow) named Cuntz, just because it's one of the names randomly assigned by a city builder. According to developer Grzegorzstyczeş, Cuntz is historically accurate because the names of all manor lords are plucked from the census of the 14th century. Players, not surprisingly, soon happily latched on to memes and began posting about Cuntz on social media, subreddit, and official discord. A lot. Like a ton.

But Too Much Cuntz is a bad thing'Some members of the community are already fed up with the sheer volume of cuntz references as a poll posted to official discord by developers asked if the name should be replaced with a non-destructive name like Konrad.

But the anti-Kunz movement was defeated and became very healthy. With more than 8,000 votes cast, 85% of players chose to keep Cuntz in the game, while only 15% wanted to remove the name.

I'm happy with the results — my Cuntz is a grave digger and I hate to see him figuratively buried along with all the other corpses — 15% come from where the joke has a relatively short shelf life and needs to retire after a while, and gamers take the funny stuff and get it to the ground where it reaches the core of the earth. Deeply remember that portal's "Cake is a lie", and it was funny for a while, but gamers repeated it too long

in other medieval news, a recent poll of Manor Lords Discord found it useful, although not as funny as the Cuntz controversy. It has been proven that it can be used in a wide range of applications. Players will vote on how to store crops like barley and flax, and instead of storing them in an existing granary or general warehouse, a new storage space (like a barn), the new barn option is by far the most popular option, so look for it in an upcoming patch. And if you need to allocate someone to keep your flax in order, make it Cuntz.
