The man who fought many times with Malenia until Elden Ring: The shadow of the Eld Tree is back for the last dance announced

"I'm going to do ridiculous things every day until [the x-video game thing happens]" may be a little pat right now — hell, there's a sociological treatise to be written about gamers who perform devotion for corporations as if they were vindictive gods.

However, YouTube's JPNB was a pioneer in this format, battling the weekly (initially daily) secret Elden Ring megaboss Malenia until the shadow of Erdtree's announcement was finally gained on May 2 last week. He then cut off his spur, but now he's back again to Tango with Michela's blade.

During his first run, JPNB began trying to fight Malenia every day until he got news of Eldenling's expansion. As the wait dragged on, it quickly became "every few days" and once a week, settling on a sustainable pace to fight her with a new, fun, themed build. In the 11 days leading up to the release of Shadow of The Erdtree, JPNB has committed to Malenia sprint as its last hurrah.

I think my favorite so far has been his "Arcane Archer,"Riff on one of my favorite Old Dungeons & Dragons Prestige Class and Classico Sherwood Forest Archer Fit. The bow is terrible in the Elden ring, so it's especially impressive to see someone beating the game's hardest boss in archery.

Yesterday's "Gelmir Gunner" was also pretty good, and overall, it's visually interesting and in a way that speaks to the true mastery of Elden Ring combat, swapping each weapon and spell for a different build.

There's a few days of no-hit runs until the release of Shadow of The Erdtree, so listen to JPNB's YouTube channel to see what he cooked up. See what Ruined the New Build FromSoftware's Hidetaka Miyazaki calls Shadow of The Erdtree's new weapon as the main selling point for the Dlc, so the build can get more wild from here.
