It is scheduled for 2026 and will probably be a grand exclusive.

Hexworks' impressive (but rather unfriendly) soul-like Lords Of The Fallen is rightly treated to a sequel. The creepy, masochistic ARPG made a pretty big impression, despite performance issues, but its neat Umbral mechanic makes you wonder if the world I can't get over the fact that it has the exact same name as its 2014 predecessor, even though it's not a remake yet. .

Lords of the Fallen2 is technically Lords of the Fallen3, referred to simply as "Project3" in a contract between publishers CI Games and Epic Games, with the latter having exclusive rights to distribute the PC version. However, a trademark application from the beginning of this year suggests that its actual title will be Death of The Fallen.

This agreement does not explain the game at all, but, of course, it gives us 1 piece of information: it is scheduled for 2026. CI Games remains an IP holder and retains the right to distribute the game on other platforms (in particular the Xbox Series S/X and PS5). Sorry, switch the fans.

CI Games will be responsible for the PC distribution of the 2023 Lords of The Fallen, which will be released simultaneously on Steam and the Epic Games Store. This time it may not be. Just because CI Games and Epic are still making a "detailed public agreement," I say "there is a possibility." That said, given that monopolies (and free games) are the main reason people use the platform, the game on Steam

at the same time that Epic shows up on the Epic Games store, Lords of The Fallen recorded a very respectable 10 million sales in just 100 days after its launch, but how much of those sales are going to be It's not clear how Steam had a peak concurrent player count of 43,000 and 21,000 user reviews, suggesting that it worked pretty well, so deliberately limiting Pc sales to the Epic Games Store

All of Epic exclusive's announcements include players who are expected to announce that they will wait for Steam's release. This is the first time I've ever seen a video of a woman in a public place. The user base is growing, but Epic hasn't made the store profitable yet.Of course, it could also depend on the smaller cuts (30% compared to Valve's 12%) from the developers and publishers it works with, and the pile of freebies it offers.

As of 2021, there were only 1 game that made a profit in the first wave of Epic's exclusivity, and more people are currently using the platform, but those who are buying new releases instead of getting free games or playing Fortnite, Rocket League or Genshin Impact's Alan Wake2 are not. How many people are there? For example, despite being one of the best games of 2023, it still hasn't made a profit.1 That said, it's also Remedy's best-selling game and is also available on consoles, so the lack of profitability so far is not only due to the store.

It can be inferred that CI Games wants big cash on the trading net more than balancing the shortfall stemming from the late launch of Steam. In many cases, the transition of the game from Epic exclusivity to Steam and other platforms will be a soft reboot anyway, rekindle interest and remind people that the game exists. For those who want to wait for Steam's release, it means that the release date will be like 2027. It's a long wait.
