Ninja might go to YouTube.

Tyler "Ninja" Blevins seems to have found a new home with his YouTube test stream.

Last year, Microsoft promised the very popular Fortnite (and more recently Valorant) streamer a large sum of money to move his channel from Twitch to Mixer, and he accepted. However, Microsoft announced last month that it was shutting down Mixer. Therefore, Ninja needs a new channel.

One possibility would be to return to Twitch, where Ninja had millions of followers before signing with Mixer. However, a now-deleted test stream has been found on Ninja's YouTube channel, suggesting that may be where he is headed.

Ninja's wife and manager, Jessica Blevins, tweeted yesterday that this week "will be fun," suggesting an announcement is forthcoming.

YouTube currently exclusively streams PewDiePie and Activision-Blizzard esports like Overwatch League. The Google-owned video giant is also a major player in the video market. The Google-owned video giant may be trying to gain a stronger foothold in the business following the closure of its competitor; despite YouTube and other powerful companies entering the game streaming space, Twitch remains the Internet's default choice. According to Microsoft, Mixer had to shut down because it could not attract enough viewers.

Mixer will be gone after July 23, and Microsoft will work with Facebook Gaming to offer its affiliated streamers an equivalent deal on Facebook. Even if it does not ultimately go to YouTube, it seems unlikely that Ninja will accept the deal.

In the absence of an official announcement, consider these details unknown for now.

Thanks, PCGamesN.
