Devolver Direct "Raises the Bar on Often Overrated Marketing Video" on July 11.

The long-announced 2020 Devolver Direct date has finally been set: Saturday, July 11 on Twitch and Steam, where Devolver promises to "raise the bar on overrated marketing videos," announce new games and trailers, and release dates for titles already confirmed.

"The astonishing misuse of the marketing budget will end with a few surprises and game demos that the unwashed masses can play, including Carrion, Disc Room, and an unreleased game," Devolver wrote of the showcase.

"Perhaps there will even be another game, as demos of Carrion and Disc Room will be available on Steam during the live stream."

The stream will take place next Saturday at 12pm PT (8pm GMT, 5am in Australia on July 12). It will be worth it just to see the morbid adventures of Nina Struthers and her friends, but the video game will probably be good as well.

Here's last year's "conference" as a recap:

Correction: corrected the date on the stream from "this Saturday" to "July 11."
