Hunt: Showdown Now Includes Two-Way and Single Player Modes

Hunt: Showdown has received a major update in the form of 1.4.1, which adds a two-player handgun and single player trial mode. Free from the dangers of other players, you can now roam both maps and complete challenges or just soak up the silence if you like.

There are 15 different trials, with parkour trials testing your ability to move fluidly, sniper trials where you shoot targets from a distance, and wave trials that are basically horde mode. While this is good news for beginners who want to learn the game without the constant fear of being killed, veterans have rewards and unlockables to aim for; Crytek notes that more trials will be rolled out in future updates.

As for dual-wielding, 13 handgun models are supported, allowing for a mix of normal and legendary, but the model must always be the same. This ability is not limited to rank, nor is it an unlockable trait, so anyone can hold two guns at once.

The full update notes are here and include a long list of bug fixes and tweaks. As an example of the latter, ammo capacity has been buffed on 12 weapons and new Legendary weapons are now available in the store.
