Steam Game Festival: Summer Edition has been postponed. Originally scheduled for June 9-14, Valve announced today that the event has been postponed to June 16-22.

Steam's Game Festival page has not yet been updated, but the Steamworks page for developers reflects the new dates.

The postponement follows similar postponements of online events by Sony, IGN, Guerrilla Collective, and PC Gamer in support of ongoing protests against police violence and racism in the wake of the May 25 killing of George Floyd It is.

An EA Play Live online event scheduled for next week has also been postponed and will take place on June 18.
