Humble Bundle Raises $6.5 Million for COVID-19 Relief

One hundred percent of the money raised went to charities such as Doctors Without Borders, Direct Relief, Partners In Health, and the International Rescue Committee. In a statement to Humble, Médecins Sans Frontières described the impact of the funds: "We expect to receive nearly $1.5 million in donations. This donation will allow our team to launch emergency programs to stem the spread of COVID-19 in the hardest-hit communities, care for infected patients, and respond to the impact of the pandemic on local health systems. Direct Relief cited the Humble Campaign as "a great example of everyone pulling together and doing whatever they can to protect the most vulnerable."

The Humble Covid-19 Relief Bundle consisted of over $1,000 in games, e-books, comics, and software retailing for over $30. The bundle was sold for only one week, from March 31 to April 7, and raised all of its funds in that time; Humble bundles always donate a significant portion of their funds to charitable organizations and another portion to game developers, but this bundle donated all of the funds raised to COVID-19 was donated to the relief of COVID-19.
