The tragedy of the La-Z-Boy for cougar gaming is that it is sold as a one-person sofa.

If you thought gaming chairs couldn't get any more special, don't be fooled; Cougar has released a one-person gaming sofa that is perfect for long solo gaming sessions. Available in orange, blue, green, and pink to match your gaming setup, the sofa is available in four colors.

The Ranger gaming sofa is a one-person sofa, so it is more like a gaming La-Z-Boy than a sofa. It is also reminiscent of premium economy seating on a long-haul flight, but without the crumbs (so far). At least Cougar is a little more forgiving than most airlines, with 95 to 160 degrees of recline and extendable footrests.

Each chair is designed for console, mobile, handheld, and PC gaming, Cougar claims. This is a versatile solution. They are also made of black PVC leather and colored cross stitching, materials familiar from many gaming chairs currently on the market.

The Ranger requires a vast amount of space. Each chair weighs 31 kg and at 740 x 980 x 1025 mm is considerably larger than a regular gaming chair.

Cougar will reportedly sell the bad boy for $280 (via TechPowerUp), and the first batch of couches will be delivered starting April 22.

If the Ranger doesn't fit your style or you need space for two, you might enjoy the Couchmaster instead. This gaming accessory gives you the freedom to game with your mouse and keyboard while relaxing on your existing couch, and unlike the Ranger, the Couchmaster also comes with a gamer's energy drink and a pouch that's just the right size to hold your outdated gamer stereotypes. It also comes with a pouch, just the right size to hold a gamer's energy drink or outdated gamer stereotypes.

Or there's this "gamer's bed" (which is really just a cluttered bedroom) to keep you up gaming until the early hours; throw in a Razer Toaster and you could be on your way to becoming an esports pro.
