It is safe to say that in most works of fiction, demons are portrayed as evil. And in the upcoming roguelike Rogue Lords, the devil is still the bad guy, but he is also you.

Rogue Lords is being developed by Cyanide and Leikir Studio and is set in 17th century New England. And since the devil recently got his ass kicked, he has assembled a team including Bloody Mary, Dracula, the White Lady, and Baron Samedi to help him get back on his feet.

To do so, the devil, that is, you, will lead his evil disciples around a 3D map and stir up trouble with other characters. Combat is turn-based and, as in a roguelike, if you lose a battle, the game is over.
