Kings Canyon was the first and only map during the first two seasons of Apex Legends. It was changed several times during the season, but when season 3 began, we were able to compete on an entirely new map called "World's Edge," and that was the end of Kings Canyon. Starting tomorrow, however, the canyon will be back for just a short while.

This is not the first time Kings Canyon has returned to Apex Legends; it was playable at the 2019 Halloween event and more recently at the Grand Soiree, but in both cases the map was changed and Abandoned Night Kings Canyon and appeared as Kings Canyon After Dark. This will be the first time that OG KC will return to its former glory (before EMP and its big, burly beasts ravaged the place).

But this will not be the last: Apex Legends Season 4 will be split in half, with the first part being fought at World's Edge and the second part returning to Kings Canyon.
