Proceeds from "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" Outback Packs Go to Australian Bushfire Relief

Infinity Ward has joined a number of developers and publishers in raising awareness of the Australian bushfire crisis. The studio will rebrand some of the DLC for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and donate the proceeds to support the victims of the bushfires.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Outback Pack will become the Outback Relief Pack and will be the source of the donation; Infinity Ward says 100 percent of net revenue from all platforms will go to the relief effort.

Those who purchased the pack before Infinity Ward's announcement on Friday need not worry, as their purchases will count toward the donation. All others can still support Australia by purchasing the DLC before January 31.

Even if you don't play "Modern Warfare," there are many ways to lend a hand, such as sending donations to the Red Cross or the New South Wales Fire Department.
