Despite being expected to end with 2019, the Epic Games Store will likely continue its weekly game giveaways for a while yet; after ending the year with 12 free games in 12 days and starting 2020 with three more free games, Epic will be giving away a hand-drawn Metroidvania, " Sundered: Eldritch Edition, and plans to give it away for free again next week.

Sundered is free until 11 a.m. ET on January 16, at which point Horace, "a huge platformer with an even bigger heart," will take its place. released on Steam in July 2019, Horace is actually not yet available on Epic, but will be available for free from January 16-23.

Epic, to my knowledge, has not yet officially committed to offering ongoing free games in 2020, but they have not said (or even hinted) that the well is about to run dry. And for now, new games will still be offered and we will keep you all informed when they appear. After all, who wants to miss out on something free?
