I hated Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" as a kid, but now when it comes on, I nod along to a piece of unthreatening boy-pop from 1987, now that Epic has added the song and its accompanying dance as an emote, God only knows how actual kids playing Fortnite feel about it.

This debuted with a tweet disguised as an automated notification that said, "I liked your YouTube video. Of course, it was actually a link to a video of Fishstick, the creepy Fortnite mascot, emoting Never Gonna to the soothing vocals of Rick Astley. The title may be accurate, since the bear is also dancing.

In any case, if I return to Fortnite in the near future, I'll have to deal with this as well as the usual nonsense.
