World of Horror is a gorgeous horror RPG with an art style inspired by manga artist Junji Ito. Presented in an austere 1-bit aesthetic (think The Return of Obra Dinn), rogue-lite elements, turn-based combat, puzzles, and choice-driven scenarios ...... Basically, it's a card-oriented RPG with a lot of different elements that I'm most excited to play in early 2020.

"The Old Gods are awakening once again, clawing their way back into a world that is becoming a vortex of mysterious madness," Steam's description reads.

"In a small seaside town in Japan, the sanity of its residents is slipping away, and grotesque creatures from another world are terrorizing those who call it home. In World of Horror, the end of the world is coming, and the only solution is to confront the horrors that reign in the apocalypse."

Developed by Pawel Kozminski, aka Panstasz, and written by Cassandra Khaw, known for Wasteland 3, Sunless Skies and the novel Hammers on Bone. Early Access begins February 20, with five playable characters and ten mysteries. More characters, mysteries, and events will be added when the full game launches later in the year.
